Tour of Seaworks Maritime Precinct in Williamstown
8 November @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Seaworks Foundation is a community-based not-for-profit entity established to preserve and celebrate Victoria’s maritime history. It operates out of the Seaworks maritime precinct, a 2.74-hectare site on Williamstown’s waterfront – comprising several heritage buildings, including the oldest surviving morgue in Victoria and 1880s sheds relocated from North Wharf up the Yarra River in the 1920s.
We have a 90-minute tour organised along with a visit to the old morgue.
The tour starts at Seaworks, 82 Nelson Pl, Williamstown. This is only 7-minute walk from Williamstown Station. Meet Kathy, John and Margaret for this event at the entrance, and pay $5 on the day.
Register your attendance through MyU3A, go to the Courses Page and find the Events tab.
