Time to Shine – Restructure and Retire – by COTA

Retirement is often a time of great change and new possibilities. It can be both exciting and challenging for many reasons. What are the things we should consider as we prepare to retire? Where can we find the information and support we need to make the best decisions about our future housing, health and lifestyle? This informative, thought-provoking workshop will be hosted by Team Leader Nicky Barry from Council On The Ageing (COTA) Victoria.
In this role, Nicky spends much of her time providing information sessions and community engagement activities to seniors from right across Victoria.
Nicky has an extensive background in community development. She has previously worked in the neighbourhood house sector and public health, as well as short-term projects with a variety of community managed organisations.
Nicky is a passionate advocate for codesign and inclusive community engagement practices. She has a special interest in disability and housing issues.
