Sharon retired in 2015 after 35 years in consumer marketing roles culminating as Marketing Director after 22 years as an expat in London and Singapore. She immediately joined U3A Melbourne City and quickly gravitated towards the Let’s Do Gallery and Movie Groups where she became co-convenor. Then during Covid she found her inner teacher and has been tutoring in Art History ever since. Sharon joined the committee in 2022 continuing her leadership in marketing and communications and became Vice President in 2023. Now in 2025 she is the incoming President.
