Awarded 2009

Ailsa joined U3A in 1999 and over the following decade made a significant contribution to U3A Melbourne City in many key volunteer roles within the organisation.

Ailsa was a member of the Committee of Management between 2002 to 2009, serving as Secretary for six of those years.

In addition, Ailsa compiled and coordinated the production of the U3A quarterly newsletter in 2002, and 2004-2005.

An office volunteer of long standing, Ailsa took up a major coordinating role in 2005 ensuring the continued smoot functioning of the office and service to members.

For her distinguished and sustained contribution to U3A Melbourne City, Ailsa was commended and awarded Life Membership in 2009
