About This Event
In the 1850s Marvellous Melbourne was a world-famous metropolis full of stunning architecture, luxurious cafes and palatial theatres. A century later scores of heritage buildings fell under the wrecking ball in the name of ‘progress’. The Lost City of Melbourne Tour uncovers the city’s lost, hidden and surviving treasures and masterpieces as we explore the city centre, basements, arcades, lanes and the river.
