Peter retired as an IT Manager in 2019; U3A had figured prominently in his plans to ensure he was fully occupied after 35 years in the oil and gas and transport industries. He volunteered to lend a hand in the IT space at his first AGM and was quickly recruited to help that team. He took over the baton to lead the team at the start of 2022 and hasn’t looked back. His U3A interests are Spanish and cycling.
