Neil retired and returned home in 2020 from his position as Director of Academic Affairs at an Australian College after 30 years working in the Middle East. After a year of Covid lockdowns, he joined U3A to keep himself busy and follow his cultural interests in the Let’s Do groups and maybe volunteer. Neil immediately was asked to join the Office Admin Volunteer Team and a few months after that the Course Co-ordination Team as well. At the 2022 AGM, Neil was elected to the Committee of Management.
