Since 2000, Marguerite has contributed to the French language program at U3A Melbourne City, tutoring in both yearlong and short courses.

Over nine years Marguerite taught the yearlong weekly courses Bonjour France– elementary (2002-2001) and Bonjour France (2002-2008).

Since then, she has taught the popular short courses Conversation Francaise and French-en parlant Francaise.

For her dedicated and sustained volunteering contribution to U3A Melbourne City, Marguerite was commended and awarded Life Membership in 2011
