John Joosten (Member)

I’m married to Annette and have 6 children and 11 grandchildren.

My background is in teaching from which I retired in 2017 after some 42 years. I taught Maths, Physics and Computer Science – among other things – in Melbourne, Ballarat and Perth, starting in the State system before spending most of my career in the Catholic system/s.

Currently I am a member of the Wednesday Bowls group along with Tuesday long excursions and monthly Sunday pub lunches. My other interests include attendance at the gym, radio-controlled yacht sailing and a bit of dabbling in PC flight simulation.
