Led by Bronte Price, an out and proud gay man, this 2-hour walking tour takes you to some sites in Melbourne’s CBD that are pivotal to the history of Melbourne’s queer community. From the steps of Parliament House, where decisions were made that impacted on the queer community in all sorts of ways, to a lesbian owned coffee shop, a gay gym and bath house, to two sites of activist demonstrations, a gay hotel and the site of an infamous police raid on a queer nightclub, each stop tells part of Melbourne’s queer historical narrative.
