Today’s much-visited Melbourne laneways, like Guilford Lane and Hosier Lane, make it hard to imagine that 50 years ago those laneways and many others were places of small factories and light industry providing employment and accommodation. Even earlier there was Little Lon, a rough and ready place of desperation and squalor. Join us to listen to the many stories from this part of early Melbourne and to take a pictorial walk through its history.
