The U3A Melbourne City Patrons Program

U3A Melbourne City is managed entirely by unpaid volunteers who contribute their time and personal resources to provide courses and activities for the benefit of our members. However, we still need funds to cover the costs of room hire, office facilities, computers and other sundry items. These funds are raised through membership fees and donations.

The U3A Melbourne City Patrons Program invites members and other interested people to provide financial help to strengthen our organisation. By donating to our U3A, you will not only be supporting our current activities, but also the improvement and expansion of what we can offer our members in the future.

Any financial contribution is most welcome at any time, either as a one-off contribution or as an on-going pledge.

Contributors are acknowledged each year in the Annual Report in three categories as:

• supporter – annual pledge of $50
• patron – annual pledge of $100
• benefactor – annual pledge of $500.

However, we will keep the contribution confidential if that is your preference.

When renewing your membership, please look at your budget and see if you are in a position to make a financial contribution as part of the Patrons Program.
